Art-Reach is bringing community leaders together to create a new standard for accessibility and inclusion.
The Philadelphia Agreement will be a collective agreement between the disability community and cultural organizations, and a commitment to community driven change. This agreement will be the catalyst that makes Philadelphia the most accessible city for independent arts engagement in the United States.
The Community Leader Coalition is made up of 11 thought partners that will help lead the development of the Philadelphia Agreement through engagement of their respective networks and communities. Coalition members and Project Director, Nae Vallejo, will meet quarterly to assess community driven data and information for developing the framework toward the final collective agreement.
The Philadelphia Agreement and the Art-Reach Consulting Team will also host quarterly Disability Forum Discussions to hear directly from the disability community on what accessibility means to them.
